This poem speaks to our own ridiculous vanity; well, mine, at least! I feel a gentle bond with the author-may I ask, did you know her?Again, I find your use of perspective and distances skillfully rendered in the fewest strokes.I work with my hands, Sakuo, (30 years with plaster and drywall) As I continue to improve (hopefully) technique, less motion and effort becomes so important. One time, first time...I think you know what I mean.
This could mean:_I'm fooling you... because I've done my hair, or; I'm the fool, having done my hair with no place to go._Yet, I sense the sadness of exclusion. _As always, my best wishes, Sakuo San! _m
