Issa has cruel destiny.
From his age 54 to 60, Issa has lost 4 children and lastly his wife.
Every season of every year he had to stand sotobas.

Here is a bit more on the SOTOBA now. I think, David will change his English.
There are so many things Japanese to study if we try to understand haiku !
